Charles,

Nice to see a fellow 29er.  As a new member, this is my first post.  I’m a member of the GCA and have several garands, but I acquired my first M1 carbine recently.  It’s an Inland, sn: 5294110.  You might know, but where to send pics and data sheets to?

Chris, welcome to the forum.
You are currently posting as a "guest" you need to log on to the forum before posting anything.
Data sheet submission instructions can be found in the link below. If you would like to tell us more about your carbine and post some pictures, then I recommend that you start a new topic under the Carbines of the Collectors section of the forums.

I've noticed that some of the links to pictures on the CMP Completed Auctions website are beginning to disappear. You might want to download pictures of your carbines of interest on these CMP sites while you still can, if they still exist.

As carbines are being sold from the various Larry Ruth Collections listed in the Forum, the listing, including all the pictures, is moved from the “For Sale” thread to the “Sold” thread. The Spread Sheets are then revised to reflect the URL of the “Sold” link. Some of these “Sold” threads are multi page and additional scrolling from page to page might be required to locate the specific carbine post you are looking for. This can become very time-consuming.

A shortcut would be to enter the carbine’s serial number from the Spread Sheet in the Forum’s “Search” box at the top, right of the page. This would take you directly to the specific post for that carbine.

I hope this helps save time.

Thx JP,
The Spreadsheets are a great resource not only used by members here but also by others on other Carbine related forums. I've seen these referred to others on forums like Reddit and I'm sure others. Wherever I see,  I recommend they join and share their Carbine with us.
The work and effort you put in to these are really Appreciated.
Thank You

The CMP has moved its online firearms auction program to Gunbroker effective August 29.   As a result of this change, the link to the CMP Completed Auctions web page now takes you to a Gunbroker web page that shows only current auction items from the CMP.   There appears to be no "completed" auction history anymore.   For now, there are no plans to alter the Spread Sheets to reflect this change.   Unfortunately, the only information available for CMP auction carbines will be what is actually noted in the Spread Sheet such as barrel date and in some cases barrel manufacturer.

The Spread Sheets have been updated to reflect 17 new additions posted by Club members. They include 5 carbines from Pete51577’s Stolen IBM’s Post as well as Inland carbines from members Dave T, Skippy, Broomstick and M1a1fan. Also added are a couple of Rock-Ola's posted by SteveTA84 and MrDrano and finally, Clayton's NPM.

I have also added notes to the IP/Saginaw GR spread sheet to indicate whether the receiver is marked IP or S'G' in the Event Description column.
