For the Rock-ola pros........ when did Rock-ola start using straight hammers? Serial number and barrel date? The last Rock-ola update I have is from Joe Bettie in the 80's.

I believe the straight hammer was adopted in April 43, started showing up on carbines late 43. I would argue Rockola used what they had.
So end of first block. Rockola stopped dating the barrels 6-43. COM 330 serial 1746775 has a straight hammer. *edit to add that COM 383 1692988 also has a straight hammer, earlier than I would have guessed.
