Found out I didn't have to work today so I snuck up to the show today.

M1 Carbine wise 10-12 total there IMO. Prices were high of course but I did see 1 Underwood in decent shape that did tempt me. I passed on it, I'm telling myself 12 is enough and I really should sell my Plainfield down the road.

Couple of handguns tempted me too, but I told myself 3 Hi Powers are enough for now.

You need to go ahead and convert one to 9mm and you can use the same ammo and magazines.😁

The weather is so bad up here in the n.e. corner of the state that I couldn't make it to the show. High winds and icy conditions.... Besides, I don't have any money to spend! Maybe the March meeting will be better for me. It sounds like you are as addicted as I am, Don.*LOL*

Maybe Big smile I expect to have to work Saturday in March so if I do try that one it'll have to be Sunday unless Ford hits me for a 10 hour shift that night (ugh). I was surprised we didn't work today given they give MLK Day off.

The only thing I was really looking for was a decent stock for the 1st Saginaw I bought back in the fall. I used an old birch stock I had on hand in place of the Cadmus one it came with (and I sold for $150 since I had 1 from the Ruth Collection already) but there were few there and overpriced for just a shooter stock.

The 1 gun there were loads of were Garands. I swear everyone must have bought their limit at CMP and jacked up the price to match.

To each his own, but the real sacrilege might be paying almost a dollar a round for 7.62x33 vs. 26-cents for 9mm for just as much fun and the only thing it takes is a $135 re-bored USGI barrel.😁
