If anyone owns a National Ordnance or Alpine carbine, we are looking for pics of the various mold marks on those made by Rimer Casting. These can be identified by the presence of a raised R down inside the housing as shown below. Not all of the trigger housings used by National Ordnance and Alpine were made by Rimer. Just those with this R down inside.
![]() This sounds more difficult than it is. Just need a handful of clear pics of the disassembled housing. Overall top view, down inside as above but without the hammer and other parts in the way, the magwell rear wall both front and back. Large enough to see the details. Cell phone pics are fine. Need to compare them to the R marked cast trigger housing supplied to the army by Intertech in 1969 (we have examples and good pics of these). I'm convinced Intertech subcontracted Rimer to make them. The question is were they made with the same mold used in the 1960's for National Ordnance and Alpine. Thanks much Jim Edited by sleeplessnashadow - Oct 09 2025 at 6:09am |

Construction builds. One person's mind and efforts can build, but not like that of two or more.
Destruction destroys. One person's mind and efforts can destroy, but not like that of two or more. |
