Can a High Wood stock fit on a former Low Wood rifle?   My stock was ruined, and need to buy the correct stock to replace.

Also, my barrel, by IBM does not have a "P" stamp on top of barrel in front or the receiver, is this standard for some IBM barrel's?

Yes, the stocks are interchangeable. There is no "Low wood rifle" the carbine is the same regardless of type of stock with the exception being an M2 carbine would require a type IV or V stock.
