Bought this IBM 3.6M carbine over 11 years ago.  Came with a dated 9-43 IBM barrel and this flip sight.  I'm starting to reduce my collection and hoping the experts here can give me an assessment as to it's authenticity.  Sight works very smoothly, not like the more common IN B sights, that even I can tell are fakes.  If it's fake someone did a good job of distressing it to match the carbine.  Please let me know what you think.

welbytwo & M1Dude,  Thank you for taking the time to provide your evaluation of this IBM flip sight.  I am trying hard to downsize my collection as I get older.  Have already sold off essentially all my spare parts, now I need to decide which carbines to let go.  Didn't want to offer this IBM for sale on this forum if this sight was considered a repro.  I have posted a few photos of the complete carbine on imgur.  

If anyone is interested I can provide additional photos of all internals which are all IBM I think.  Anyways, would be willing to sell for $1800.00 + shipping.
