This Winchester I have bought last year. I have a very good relationship to the owner and employees of a gun shop close by. As they know what I am collecting, I am always informed when they get something interesting. When they have received this Winchester M1 they have immediately put it away and called me.
The stock is a Winchester with early oiler cut, Cartouche and WRA GHD on the right side. Inside there is a 177 (any idea of the meaning?) Receiver with tube spring housing Mag Pouch and Sling look original but I am not an expert. What do you think? |

I have one with 177 on bridge.
I think they were inspector marks. Not alway there, not always a number. |
