I have a low 70K serial numbered Plainfield. Any idea as to date?
I know that the records are not that accurate at all.

Be a little more specific. Does it have a letter in front of the number? Like B70123

well then with the serial 75xxx it would be close to mid 70's I would imagine as serials with no letter ran from 1965-1978 with almost 89,000 being produced
