I have a Winchester trigger housing here. The only part that isn't marked “Winchester” is the sear. It's unmarked. The trigger housing appears to be blued. It's very smooth. The underside has a strange marking. Does anyone have any idea what it is?

Regards,

Rico

It's probably an inspector's mark. Mine has the letter "V".

Hi Charlie,

Yes, the Hammer spring is a 22-coil spring.
