Hello. I've had my Underwood M1 Carbine for several years. I'm a longtime M1 Garand owner, and thought I would reach out and learn more about the carbines.

Hello Jond41403. Thanks for the reply and advice! My Underwood Carbine is really nice- I believe it was an unissued Carbine that was sent for an arsenal rebuild after the war. It has an Underwood '11-43' dated barrel, a really nice GHG over UEF with crossed cannon marked stock, and a receiver in the 27836XX range. I'm looking forward to completing a data sheet on it. Jeff
