Hello from Southeast Alabama

I’m Alfred Moore in Dothan, AL. I’m a retired FAA flight standards inspector.   I’m a Marine veteran from the mid 70s.  I collect weapons and militaria from the SAW thru WW2.  I have two Inland carbines (M1 and M1A1) from an uncle’s estate in the early 80s. He had both since the 60’s.  I recently purchased a CMP M1, from a Korean War vet neighbor.   It is also an Inland. All three are early 1944 dated, with original barrels.  The first two have all correct time frame, and some upgraded Inland parts.  The new one was mostly Inland parts, except for the Rock-Ola complete type 2 trigger housing assembly (all Rock-Ola parts, except for a type 3 magazine catch, and a type 4 safety), a NPM type three recoil plate, and a late Winchester buttplate.  I have replaced all three items.  All three have Inland stocks and handguards.  All three have arsenal rebuild markings.  The M1A1 stock has pinned repair above the pistol grip and a replacement pistol grip.  The newest one has a pinned repair forward of the magazine well.  I need to find out to how to post pictures.
