That Collector friend Called me earlier and asked me if I wanted to buy some Ammo. I told him yes, so I went over real fast and bought over 700 loose rounds in a OD Green Ammo Cannister. No Reloads and about 40 of them were Steel Case for 150.00. The rest are all brass some are S P ' S and they were Sticky. I was wondering if I spray a bunch of Ballistol Oil and let it soak and then empty it and clean them. Will that Oil do anything harmful to these rounds

I would think if the primers are not sealed you would run the risk of contamination. I would turn on the tv, sit back, take a rag with a solvent/mineral sprites or whatever removes it and just clean each round by hand.
