The Ohio Valley Military Society hosts the best WW2 shows. A one day visit is never enough. If it’s anything like their Louisville show I’ll make it a yearly event. See you in September.

The Max show has been around at least 25 years or so. I used to attend several years ago when it was in Monroeville, PA near Pittsburg.
A couple years ago, OVMS purchased the show from its promoters and moved to a larger facility in York. I'm not sure of size. It is/was primarily a militaria show with daggers, flags, uniforms etc., but I'm sure some firearm related in the mix as well. Only thing I noticed was asking prices were much higher with the East coast crowd vs. at Louisville. Only military items allowed, no modern firearms, beef jerky or flea market stuff. As Dave mentioned, OVMS puts on absolutely the best militaria show at their Feb. Show of Shows in Louisville with 2200 tables. |
