I too have never left a comment or even a rating.

But. I have watched youtube while signed into my g**gle account, so for good or bad, they already have that much info on me.  Also I made a tuba? account to watch the superbowl last year.

The bad part is now g**gle and youtube customizes/prioritizes based on what it "thinks" I "like."  Something I find very annoying.   One solution is logging out or not logging in.  That doesn't block your IP of course but seems to help.

Anyway if you have trouble getting a suggesting to stick in the comments, post back. I'm willing to give it a try.  They may not allow hot links outside of their domain.  Another option is we can hunt down contact info for that museum.  We have a number of threads here and enough retired Marines I think they would be interested in joining or at minimum filling out a data sheet as you suggest.

I think this is a good discussion.

We need to learn to understand and work with these things if we want to reach more people, in particularly the people who don't commonly use forums.

There's definately a growing amount of AI generated or assisted videos on youtube.  They often have titles such as Combat vets pick the ten best war films, and have an unseen narrator.  

I would be too concerend about having registered.  I am puzzled why the comment doesn't appear since it doesn't show comments turned off.  

 And I think we do want to reach out to the museum to get a data sheet and any other information.
