Hi All - Newcomer here, and have been active on the CMP board, for both Carbines and Garands.
I just received my 2nd Carbine, this one from the latest CMP lottery - I was one of the lucky ones!
I received a nice 5M # Inland, with Austrian heritage, and I obtained a good amount of preliminary info on that lineage from this Carbine Club website.
It's an LGK-OO, indicating Upper Austria Gendarme.
It has the nice polished blueing in some of the exposed areas, and some interesting numbering that I'd like more help with.
The LGK-OO specialty page on this site requests for owners to submit their unique markings. 
Shall I attach photos to the board in this category and thread?
Or is there a special area for those in-depth communications?

	Bergerboy, welcome to the forum. If you have not seen the post CMP Inland Bavarian i would suggest as a good start. It answers many questions by or resident Bavarian expert and author of the Bavarian Carbine website Jim aka sleeplessnashadow. Post pics and questions away.
