I thought I'd post this as a plug for a fine booklet called "Exceptional Arms,' which is a program for an American Society of Arms Collectors (ASAC) display that took place in 2003 at the National Firearms Museum at the NRA Headquarters in Fairfax, VA. In the program, Inland Carbine #25551 was featured as being a historical rifle found on Omaha Beach on D-Day. We don't see many Carbines that can tell a story, but this one apparently has some good documentation.

If anyone saw this display, I would be interested in your recollections.

Happy Thanksgiving!
