I would go with 9-11 of 43 dated barrel receiver combo on a 186xxxx thru 187xxxx or 35xxxxx thru 365xxxx serial range or a reused serial number in 176xxxx

I saw one of them on an auction site recently. I think it was like the second or third one I've seen in 10 plus years of messing around with carbines.

I have a couple mag catches marked E-SG with an M on the face. I didn't think they were rare. Are they?

I have a mag catch with an " M" with a line under it, type 1V with the extra lug to shoot 30 round mags.  I bought it on the internet to replace the original on my Saginaw S'G' so I don't think it is anything special. Average price $40.00. These would have been use on Inland and Winchester M2 Full Auto.
