Progress has been slow for a number of reasons. The various archives have been closed since the start of the pandemic. While working on this we have been updating and authoring web pages on all 3 websites. Dan has also been handling the forum and doing his own research on various things.
Obtaining photos for all we wish to show is a challenge. I'm amazed at what we have been able to find and very grateful to those who have shared. The web pages are more like authoring a book than an article. Each web page would be 4+ pages in print. The remaining pages (4 or 5) on the history of the T-120/M1 Snooperscope and Sniperscope are almost complete. They cover production and deployment. The section on research and development is online. http://www.uscarbinecal30.com/IRM1.html We've added a scope to the IR Viewer page... http://www.uscarbinecal30.com/infrared.html Also additional inf, pics, and a metascope to the Metascope page... http://www.uscarbinecal30.com/IRMetascopes.html I plan on starting the pages on the early M2 Sniperscope after the T-120 pages are online. Still looking for more and better pics of the early M2 Sniperscopes and a few for the T-120's. Jim & Dan |
