Cant find this one in any of my reference books.
The RA stamp on left side indicates a rebuild at Raritan arsenal but I can't figure out the the larger marking in the middle.

colreed,
I believe the MRM to be a Mount Rainier Ordnance Depot rebuild marking.

thanks, Wayne. Good to know.
You'd think that would be in one of my 3 reference books.

For those who may not know, If you click top banner you will be directed to the home pages. On the menu on left you will see "Post War Ops"
listed are the arsenals/armories and pics that we have to show examples of rebuild marks

Colreed, also found on pg 183 of Riesch's book, 7th edition. The last "M" is inspector's initials.

Riesch's assessment on this point is directionally correct, but more accurately, the additional letter or letters after the Ordnance Rebuild Facility mark are the initial(s) of the Ordnance Inspection Supervisor, not of the individual inspectors.
