I wanted to share with the members my latest toy.  
This Underwood came out of the woodwork a couple weeks ago.  Could not obtain any direct history other than someone took awfully good care of it.  The trigger housing was so gummed up with dried grease nothing would move.
There are a few before being cleaned up photos mixed in.  Hope you enjoy looking at her.

dried grease-no one took care of?? looks brand new to me-that is a sweet one--I think the closet kept it out of everyones hands for 75 yrs

There is no staking of the rear sight.

I have 1374699 only 166 before this one in like condition. I wonder if a shipment in this serial number range got side tracked and never issued .

Ten, KRO has the SQ S. I think his is the Park color.

Do either of these have a  .U. stamped leaf?
I have photo files Marcus shared with me of 3 or 4 early UEF's.
I'll look em up later to see how close. Those like these are beautiful !

Some of it pertains to how a sight is staked. Some pertains to how clean and sharp the dovetail is.
