Hello. I have a late WWII manufactured Winchester M1 Carbine that has "SFCC CO SACCO" on the right side of the receiver just below the rear sight. For the life of me, I cannot find what that means. Is it an importer? An org that used the M1 Carbine after WWII? Something else?

Or right here on our main information pages see below link. Could it be GFCC CO SACCO? Welcome to the forum.

Nice find guys! Yes, it does actually say "GFCC CO SACCO" - it's very small and difficult to see. I thought the "G" was an "S".
So this one of the Israeli M1 Carbines.
