I rotated the 1st picture to orient the P the same direction. Keep in mind the others are 180 degrees out from it. ----------------------------------------------------MUZZLE \/ THIS WAY ----------------------------------------------------MUZZLE /\ THIS WAY ------------------------------------ MUZZLE /\ THIS WAY ------------------------------------ MUZZLE /\ THIS WAY |

Hmm, inland marked barrels there.
Are all e Ps the same size? Does the gas chamber and swage look correct? |

Gas cyl and barrel look very healthy and correct. It's an Inland 1-44 date from a 4.7 Quality. The ring P is longer. The other two look the same size (for Quality), though the middle one looks to have a longer leg maybe.

Read your original post. The turning had me concerned as rockola barrels early on were ground smooth.
Inland stamped letters and I think numbers at breech, so not a proof. One P inland, one P qhmc? Should be good to go |

Oops, yeah wrong barrel stated. So Inland barrels for Quality would be fairly ordinary to see such markings. Gotcha.

What was your barrel on? It's not so uncommon I guess. I've found another since then in my stuff. The rear P being the Inland marking and the other two being proof marks. I think the last one found was on a 4.8 mil QHMC.

Inland barrels have been observed with markings in that location.
CCNL 353-4 Inlands second serial block shows them from 10-43 on and they had letters or numbers. It seems not consecutive to 12-43 CCNL 361-3 Inlands next serial block shows 1-44 barrels as having M, N, or P

My barrel and receiver were original pairing as far as I can tell. It is an early 3rd block inland (4,97M) and has arsenal stock marks and the bayonet band. Also, it still has the flat bolt but I thought the arsenal put round bolts in?
