Any ideas where one can find some small rifle primers? Any brand. I've found some advertised by various vendors but not at the reputable outlets, Natchez, Midwest etc. BEWARE: Plenty to be found at the huckster vendors who require payment in cryptocurrency. I am weary of paying in crypto B/C the money is not recoverable if the shipment fails to show up in my mailbox.

A couple of other suggestions-
Watch GunBroker closely for primers. Many of the sellers either don't charge or eat the HazMat fee. I've scored a couple of good deals on primers there. Don't overlook small pistol primers for use in the .30 Carbine. If SPP's will ignite 15.5 grs. of H110 in a .357 Magnum, there's no reason it won't ignite 15.0 grs. of the same in a .30 Carbine. I've chronographed .30 Carbine loads with SRP vs SPP and honestly there's not a nickels worth of difference. |

I shoot small anything, but I’d avoid the Federal small pistol magnums. The cups are really thin and will perforate under the force of a carbine hammer and spring. I think the major difference between small pistol and small rifle is the cup thickness anyways. You must use what you have these days!
