Several of my stocks just will not permit the passing of the metal tip past the oiler. There is not enough space. What is best way to cure this? (The sling tip is as narrow (thin) as can be made.)
1. Deeping the flat portions where the oiler rests so that the oiler rests deeper in the slot thus allowing more space, or
2. trimming the side portion of the sling cut so that the space beside the oiler is wider?
3. Any other technique?
Thanks

Are you using the google toolbar search for the forum?
On the toolbar below the forum banner there are 3 search boxes. the one on the left searches the forum and the main pages on the US Carbine.
Middle searches the Commercial pages only.
Right searches the Occupation carbine pages only

There are two CCNL indexes. Due to layout sometimes one will yield better results than the other

And as always, if you need help, ask. Wink

I appreciate that, Dan.
I was not aware of the 27 page index and have downloaded it.
