Would this hammer and rear sight be acceptable on a NPM that appears to have gone through and overhaul?

Any straight hammer and adjustable rear sight would be acceptable on any Carbine that went through an overhaul.

It didn't leave the factory like that but perfectly acceptable for an arsenal rebuilt carbine.

During rebuild, probably would have replaced the mag catch with a type 3 or later and the push safety too. You've got the "oil hole mod" on your housing too. Nothing wrong with that all good parts. If they function fine, shoot and enjoy.
