Same basic number of Carbines there today, no price changes. I saw 1 guy buy a "Paratrooper" Inland for $3800 bucks. He was happy so that's what counts.

Best deal was a NPM for $1200, private seller. Barrel gauged .05 on my CMP gauge. It tempted me but I was trying to sell a couple pistols (sold 1 FEG Hi Power).

It needed a new dial for the adjustable rear sight but the seller had a extra sight with the deal. It didn't last long.

I did pick up 1 thing Carbine related. A decent looking M2 SA walnut stock with handguard for $65.00. I was wanting a nice looking walnut stock to replace a slightly banged up birch one on my "Howachester".

I'm guessing "SA" is Springfield Armory.

I ended up putting it on my "shooter" USGI Inland and moving the nice birch stock on it over to the Howachester. Now I'll "have" to check zero on both of them......like I needed a reason to take one to the range (I do need ammo though, I'm at "SHTF" level and it's a pain to find right now)

I didn't stay long today. Same old/same old. I did sell an NPM for $1500 with a lot of early parts. Didn't buy anything there. Went from there to the CMP North Store and bought a racker Winchester M1 Garand. Now I have all 4 US makers. Still looking for that S'G'....

I got there at 9 and stayed till 11. That NPM I mentioned wasn't bad but I got 1 last year in about the same shape.

I was actually thinking of making a run to CMP North this week but changed my mind. From what I've seen posted on the CMP forum all they've had is Rack grades and I'm hoping for Service Grades to come back.

Thanks. Part of me is kicking myself in the butt for passing on that NPM but I took a few days off from work the past couple weeks without pay and figured I'd use my gun fund to cover the lost pay.

Of course every time I do that I see a gun I might want Cry Oh well, I figure 9 will hold me for awhile

From what I'd seen posted I wasn't sure what they would have. I figure I have 2 Garands now, that'll hold me for awhile. Big smile
