Former Inland Employee, Ron Dalhammer tells me that Inland had padlocks with the Inland logo on it!

Here is an example of one of the locks

Ron does it again with this Irwin Pedersen Patrolman bage.
Irwin Pederson was a formation of two companies for producing the M1 carbine. We all know the story. What is interesting is how worn this item is considering how short lived Irwin Pedersen Arms existed.

Ron Shares another great one!
Check out this 1950 Pontiac Chieftain.

I am sure many of you know Inland made steering wheels, brake linings, weather strips.
but that is not what we are looking at.
After the war Inland made rubber parts as well as plastic parts, radio cabinets and ice trays.
This lead to items like turn signals.
But check out this beauty!

http://www.uscarbinecal30.com/forum/uploads/2396/Inland_letter_opener_3.jpg

I did a quick search and thought I found out the different hood ornaments the Chieftain used, I found nothing attributing it to Inland. But this next picture may be the tie to who actually made the plastic lens for the hood ornament.

It is a letter opener, How is that for great ephemera made by Inland!

Suggestion Award Winner was probably obvious.

The non-denominated tax stamp came into use in 1940 till the playing card tax was repealed in 1965.
The B & B cancellation is Brown & Bigelow.

B & B made promotional items
Dave, They made calendars for the Boy Scouts of America featuring the works of Norman Rockwell!
B & B marketed their cards under the Hoyle name.

Saginaw used this logo in the 30s and up till at least 1950.

the earliest use of the logo on the cards that I have found in 1953

Here is a coin from 1954

so the cards were manufactured sometime in the early 1950s to 1965.

@Ncin NICE!

Member Ron Dalhamer, retired Inland employee shares a 1963 Inland advertisement for Inland's new product "Inlyte"
This was a bid for a way to drop supplies to submarine crews.
Ron was on nuclear subs in the early 60's and says they never got supplies like that.
