Has anyone seen a type 3 band with this marking before? Looks like a serif C?

| yes--is reference to it in carbine club newsletter bayonet band update--I got one on cmp return from memory--somehow thought my serif C was on other side?? too many moons ago |

Yes sure does look like the serif C in the C. Cowles Co. logo. Pulled these pictures of a bore sight they manufactured, as well the factory.
