Hi From Florida 70 year shooter, first shot a carbine in the Air Force, loved it, 10 years later was able to buy a Universal, owned it for many years, sold it to a neighbor, missed it, 3 weeks later traded for another Universal. Still looking for an original, not much luck. I owned a gun store just outside of Chicago for 3 years, went broke trying to keep it open, finally gave up. Now retired in Florida

Jimmy, welcome to the party. I retired and left Illinois as well. But, I only made it to Newburgh, IN and the Ohio River. LOL

You'll enjoy your carbine more by hanging out on this forum. I know I have.
