Hello fellas....

I have a few new desert storm color molle ammo pouches I'm looking to darken up. Will dye work on the fabric or is painting the way to go? Thank you.

I would guess it depends on the fabric.
Rit dye works on some synthetics. you have to read the directions carefully as you may have to add either vinegar or salt. They also have a dye specific to synthetics called Rit dyemore ( I have never used it)

the regular Rit dye is available at most grocery stores.  You can also mix for custom colors.
