I know MMQ with EM-Q, what is J.M.Q with EM-Q?
Made by or for QHMC?
Is it wartime replacement, post-war, ???.
My books don't show it.
Thanks

There are descriptions in CCNL 356.  Type 3s were approved in May '44 and Inland started using them in Nov '44.   J.M.Q. is a Mueller made band for Quality Hardware.  Questions if Mueller provided the finished band assembly or did Quality after receiving the lugs from others?

J.M.Q. -- L. J. Mueller Furnance Co. in Milwaukee. EM-Q is probably Elgin Metal Novelty Co. sub-contractor. Wartime and post war. NL says observed on Winchester carbines but not documented as installed at time of manufacture. Don't believe QHMC made any with T-3 bands. T-2 bands seen as early as 4.79.
