Any information on this curious stamp?  It's on a Type 2 Inland stock, OI in sling cut and no cross cannons.

Defense Acceptance Stamp (DAS). I think they were rubber ink stamps for M16's and repos can be bought.
Here are a couple links with some information and examples for use on stocks.

Never seen the DAS stamp on a carbine stock, I do know that the DAS stamp was used on the Imperial and TMN plastic handled M4 bayonets of the 50's.
