Hi All
I'm looking for help to identify the manufacture of this operating slide. It appears to be a type 4 with marks in the cup to be a 3 and another mark I can't make out. On the back side of the cup the mark appears to be a W with one of the top serifs missing. Can anyone identify? Thanks GG

That is a poorly struck underlined PI. The 3 looks like an inspection mark to me.

Thank you. Any idea why there would be a mark on the back of the cup?

Without seeing the whole slide it looks like either an E379 or L379 Inland slide.
