Ok I do not really do gun porn but I will see how to do it. Like said I really only have working guns and tho I shoot ELD 1K yds  I am not a precisioneer. I am not a Howitzer Operator I shoot from the ground off a bipod and really strive for 1MOA 10" group.
I like my little Carbine and I am trying to make it as efficient as I can
I put a Kensight adjustable rear sight on and its nicely made etc yadda yadda. I had a big problem. Back in my day I was trained to make long shots with Orifice sights. My sights were very precisely installed and things like the actual orifice encompassed the front globe which in turn centered the post up to achieve perfect alignment etc etc.
Now the thick rear pipe caused me to see a wierdly shaped orifice which had no relationship with the front sight group. I fixed that by dismanteling the rear group and counter boring the hole with a small center drill so that I had a bowl with about 0.60 thick orifice at the front curing that problem. I then bored the orifice so that it framed the front group horns nicely to center the blade top up nicely.
I have a piece of 1.5mm orange fiber optic which I am going to design a fitting to be brazed to the top of the post at the correct height to help my old eyes. This I hope will give me a precise short range weapon with a fast aquisition capability. I am hoping for 2 1/2" @ 200 yds for a nice light Deer gun
