Wooden toy M1 carbine

Has no markings identifying the company who made it. It may or may not have been made using parts of a rejected carbine stock.

This example appears in War Baby vol III p. 1618, fig 1946.

Ruger 10-22 Tribute model, .22 LR

Ruger 10-22 Carbine with M1 carbine style "Tribute" stock by the E. Arthur Brown Company. It has the carbine style TechSights
100 Set (front and rear), a "dummy" M1 Carbine magazine cover attached to the base of a standard Ruger factory 10 round magazine,
along with the sling and oiler. Note the damage to the top of the handguard just forward of the receiver (shown in the pics).

This is the 10-22 shown in War Baby, Volume III, page 1652, figure 2025.
