New to the Forum - Old to the Club

I actively pursued my Carbine interest through the mid 80's until I felt that having a dozen examples would suffice.  I remodeled a vintage footlocker (pictured) to store and display my collection and went on to pursue other WW2 small arms.

So a couple decades passed by and after reviewing my collection closely one day I realized my dozen was only the "tip of the iceberg" in the world of Carbine collecting. I began growing my collection of Carbines but now wanted a representation of accessories as illustrated in Larry's three volumes of "War Baby".

This past decade my real enjoyment in the world of Carbines has been sharing what I've collected and have read about Carbines over the years with members and attendees at the Washington Arms Collectors annual display show.  I've proud to have been awarded First Place many times at our show but more importantly it's been a wonderful opportunity to share my interest with others as well as being able to view some of what I've gathered over the years.

I enjoyed reading your most recent post…..sounds like some interesting ones will follow. Is one of your not-so-dirty dozen a Standard Products? My one-and-only carbine is a SP and would like to hear more should one of yours is as well.
