M1A1 Stocks: Govt of Greece

Several of us have been trying to find one of these Greek M1A1 stocks for a number of years, without success. These photos came from an old post on a Greek discussion forum. While the quality of the pics is really poor,  the type of wood used stands out. It appears to be Northern European Beech wood, stained dark. Hopefully someone will be able to add their knowledge of these here.
