I saw some carbine stocks on Ebay stamped "LEAD". Seller claimed that these came from carbines processed through the Letterkenny Depot. I've never seen this before. Not mentioned in Riesch or in Jim's web page on arsenal rebuilds. Can anyone confirm?

LEAD is Letterkenny Army Depot.
I am Guessing LEtterkenny Army Depot If you look up the depot there will be references to the "LEAD" Family.

First time I ever saw the stamping was on the Korean stocks from a few
years back. I had one and know of another one here in town out of the same boxes.

Some of the Garand and 1911 collectors get pretty excited about LEAD rebuilds. I think I have seen one LEAD rebuilt carbine, but have probably looked right over others.
