Not much to say except its a fake . Someone is going to learn an expensive lesson. I did let the seller know but you know how that goes    .

On Dec-24-21 at 07:25:32 PST, seller added the following information:

IMPORTANT NOTE:  I am no longer positive that this is a USGI stock. Stampings are correct: the ordnance escutcheon is precise in design and size; the boxed IP is about 1/64" larger than sources say it should be. I oiled the stock which greatly improved its appearance but that allowed these markings to be seen more clearly and the boxed IP appears less worn than the ordnance wheel. eBay won't allowed me to modify the description, so please ignore the word 'original' for the above reasons. I would urge bidders to cancel their bids if this info affects their interests, It's still a beautiful stock in any event. I apologize for the inconveniences this may cause.
