Hello. I came from Poland and I collect guns. The M1 Carbine was missing from my collection. I searched all over Europe and unfortunately in Germany the carbines are in very bad condition, they are welded, they additionally stamp the serial number on the bolt and barrel, the parts are mixed from different manufacturers. In other countries, nothing interesting. In January 2022, I managed to find a carbine in very good condition in Denmark in a historical weapons shop. Semi-auto guns are not allowed in Denmark and are therefore relatively cheap. Thanks to your forum, I learned a lot of important information about this carbine, which allowed me not to make a mistake when buying. The carabiner is completely original in my opinion.
