Hello. I came from Poland and I collect guns. The M1 Carbine was missing from my collection. I searched all over Europe and unfortunately in Germany the carbines are in very bad condition, they are welded, they additionally stamp the serial number on the bolt and barrel, the parts are mixed from different manufacturers. In other countries, nothing interesting. In January 2022, I managed to find a carbine in very good condition in Denmark in a historical weapons shop. Semi-auto guns are not allowed in Denmark and are therefore relatively cheap. Thanks to your forum, I learned a lot of important information about this carbine, which allowed me not to make a mistake when buying. The carabiner is completely original in my opinion. Below are photos of my rifle. I will send the data sheet today to the e-mail address provided. My English is not very fluent, so I use Translator, sorry for that. Greetings from Poland.

I shot many times. A very light and accurate weapon. Wife loves to shoot it.

Good looking Inland ArturS. What is that on the receiver directly in front of the rear sight, looks like some type of set screw?

I was thinking what it is too. There are two, one in front of the other under the rear sight (under mounting). Look at the photos.Look at the photos.

Great looking Baby!
I feel like an optic was mounted on, replacing the rear sight, these screws filling the holes now.
