Howdy from Texas y'all! I just got my first M1 carbine, so I thought I might try to learn some things from the gurus here. This is what I ended up with... It's an IBM (Ser# 3655XXX), with no import marking on it. I'm sure it's a 'mix' of all possible parts, but I'm happy with it. I tried to upload a picture, but it ain't happening. Big smile

Welcome to the forum.  No better place to learn about your carbine.  My IBM is the epitome of a mixmaster I got from the CMP sale in 2016.  Looking forward to seeing more of your IBM.
