Got my latest M1 Carbine finally, right now I'm calling it Bubba Inland with a 7/44 barrel on it. The workmanship is actually very well done. No import marks Barrel is gauging .06 if I'm reading my gauge right Inland trigger group, the blueing turned it purple. Bolt's been jeweled. It's got a Underwood Type 3 slide on it. Stock has some handling marks on it, and I hate the way it "feels". I'm planning on running it past Fulton Armory for a repark and tech check. This thing reminds of a DCM gun someone got on the 60's and turned into a hunting rifle. I figure I'll use one of my birch M2 stocks when I ship it and then decide if I was to use one of my nice finished Boyds stocks when I get it back. This should be a sweet shooter when I'm done with it |

Beautiful the way it is! Thee are some that collect the sportsterized stuff. Some of the early book have sections on how to do it and the stock suppliers. The Carbine Handbook by Paul Wahl shows some similar stocks made by Fajen. it looks like a variation of the "Aristocrat" stock. The checkering is different
