Hello,
I received some assorted carbine parts and this was in a Winchester marked stock. What you think?

Not a Winchester part, the recoil plate was taken out of a Winchester stock. The IP-W makers mark is on the underside of the tear tang.

Hello- the recoil plate was made by Wadsworth watch case co. for Irwin Peterson (per War Baby).

My apologies, I thought the thread was titled ID recoil plate, and I thought you were wondering if it was Winchester since it came out of the Winchester stock, my bad

No problem, my wording has a lot to be desired. I just thought it was a bonus part that I got when I received the stock. I'd say these are few and far between.
