No worries. I used Korean surplus, I've still got 1000 rounds I'm willing to shoot this year before I worry about a restock (I've 3500 rounds Armscor and S&B as stash ammo) The Howachester saw a Fulton Armory rebuild last year, new bolt, barrel and replaced worn springs as needed. The FTE this time was the 1st in a year according to my records (I keep a log on all my guns). It's my main "shooting" Carbine and shows 2975 rounds since the rebuild with 5 FTE's. The 1st 4 I figured were ammo, I had some Aquila .30 carbine last summer that's underpowered IMO and always caused me problems any Carbine I shot it out of. This one I figure mag, either that or I forgot to lube the bolt a bit before I shot it. I always run my Carbines "wet" and had tried shooting it the 4th of July week but got rained out and figured it should still have been "wet" on the bolt

Had several failures to feed yesterday with the U stamped Korean in the new to me Midway Underwood. It may be the Underwood, but old LU and K-S'G' that came with it had no FTFs. All the FTFs were in the middle 5 shot loads, either 2nd, 3rd or 4th. I'll manually cycle a bunch of dummer rounds later to see if I can get a FTF that way. My thinking is that if its the magazine's lips or position, an FTF will occur whether manual cycled automaticly cycled. But if its only FTFing when fired, then its more likely the rate and force of the slide and bolt.
