Hi Guys,
Someone offered me this. a complete set M1 carbine gas cylinder tool set. I asked for markings and he has one set with marking BP. This one he won't sell. The other sets are unmarked. In what price range should I think for this. Here some pictures. Picture 1 to 3 is the set with the BP Marking he won''t sell photo 4 parts of unmarked sets that are for sale.

I have seen the complete set for sale at around $400 as I recall. Unless one is a gunsmith that might frequently encounter user-damaged cylinder threads, that is a great deal of $$$ just to have for occasional use. I think the wrench is all that’s needed for the normal enthusiast that might on occasion have a need to service or build-up a gas system, but us boys do like our toys though.

Have also seen them go for close to $400, I am hoping to find a set at a yard sale someday!
Fulton Armory sells a reproduction for $189.99

Just got a response from seller to my question of what it should cost. Target price is 250 Euro.
That is around $ 300

unless I am missing something pic number 4 is just wrench replacement heads, all the same and not a set. you would still need the body, wrench bar and the tap

Dan makes a good point. If all he offers are the parts in the bag, it’s just a nut-wrench without a handle and a useless spring.
