 Hello all
I just bought a carbine that was a CMP purchase from around 2009. Hasn't arrived yet, but here's what I've found from the Bavarian section here.
NPM ser.#4258089 (Feb 1944) Trigger guard LGKV, Austrian rural police Voralberg province with 0433 inventory number.
Has type 3 sights and bayo band, also a purplish refinish that I understand was used by the Austrians. Good barrel with a 1 muzzle reading. Interesting history on these !
Below are sellers pics, any help with barrel ID and other markings appreciated.

You guys are finding stamps in the shadows I had not seen.
My bad for mistaking the D for 0 on the barrel. Should have put a glass on it.
Nice to get experienced eyes on this old girl, thanks!

Yes, yours would have originally had a type 3 oval cut low wood I believe. Not uncommon for the Bavarians to have some mixed parts. I really like them and have kept mine as they were. The Germans took fantastic care of those weapons.

Thanks, I won't change a thing. I like it for what it is.
Really like the mixed parts, and am glad to have the original bolt and trigger housing assembly with a good barrel.
