   Hello everyone. My name is Vince. I have gleaned a lot of information from this sight over the past few years. I started about 4 years ago when I bought my first M1 Carbine, it is an Underwood. Since then, I have purchased an IBM. Well, that has got me started into collecting, at least one of each manufacture and who knows where. 
I really enjoy shooting these rifles.
I have acquired a few necessary items, head space gauges including field, muzzle erosion, and all the necessary tools to completely dismantle a carbine. I have bought several books on M1's, and they help a lot.
What I hope going forward is that the expertise here will help me fill in some of the blanks.
Maybe, just maybe, we can all help each other.

	Vince, welcome to the party. You are off to a great start. I've only been serious about M1 carbines for about 4 years. I have two as well a shooter grade and a collector grade. The reference books and tools are very important. I've learned much here. There are so many knowledgeable and helpful folks.

	Welcome to the forum, sounds like your hooked and once hooked it will go way beyond each manufacturer.

	Yes Welcome Vince, While registering I'm sure you read the part that says pictures are Required to keep your membership valid And as Wayne mentioned: " ... once hooked it will go way beyond each manufacturer" To which I'll add.......... Way Way Beyond ! Before you know it you'll be searching for Absolutely Anything Carbine Related... Try to find 1 member here that will Disagree with these statements.... Anyone.
