I inherited this a couple of years ago. Ejected cases occasionally plunked me in the head, and it was really dirty. So I took it to a local specialist and he did a thorough cleaning and I suspect he changed the ejector spring. The spent cases fly out behind me a good 15'. Winchester, with the serial number visible at the rear of the sights. Sadly, I don't know more history on it. It seems pretty accurate and reliable, but all I shoot is lake city ball. Looking forward to learning from this forum.
