Picked this up recently for the collection and thought would share a little of it.

It would appear that the use of special character  "&" is the culprit
I renamed them for ya

Is that a Universal pictured at the top of the Table of Contents page?

I have the same little book.  Got it shortly after my first carbine back in the 70's.  I did not know there were all the different makers at that time.  This little book started a very bad addiction.

I did not anticipate the little book would contain that much info. It's laid out well and covers a good high view of the m1 carbine history and usage. It's no WarBaby! but was enjoyable to read through and informative.
Worth the $5 I spent on it, IMO.
