I know the rifles may be a bit older than we all deal with on this site, I have a friend looking to sell off a family members guns after he passed. An auction house is offering to sell them for him.
A quick description: There are 4 1865 Spencer carbines, 3 with saddle rings. They are all in fair to good condition Two 1884 Springfield Trapdoors with consecutive serial numbers. I’m thinking this is where the money is at. They both are in very good condition! Several other Springfield Trapdoors in various dates A couple Officer Fusil’s that do not have serial numbers on them. Bayonets for what we believe for the Trapdoors that are in very good condition with belt scabbards And about 20 other rifles pre to post civil war. Before he lets the auction house in I suggested he get more information on all the rifles so he knows what they may be worth. If anyone here has an idea or knows a guy that knows a guy, I’m all ears and would love to learn more to help my friend. |
